Topic: How can we specify the Integration server/MWS as a windows service in webMethods(Same like Broker server and Monitor in services.msc we can find) ?
Hi all,
How can we specify the Integration server/MWS as a windows service in webMethods(Same like Broker server and Monitor in services.msc we can find). Can you please suggest me. Do we need to mention it while installing or any changes after installation.
Either you can specify it while installation or can change it later on as well (Kindly read the IS admin guide:" Switching the Server from a Windows Application to a Windows Service")
you can even do it after the installation... for IS navigate to /support/win32, open command prompt as Administrator and run "installSvc.bat"....
and for MWS navigate to /MWS/bin and open command prompt and run the command "mws installasservice"
hope this helps....!
Thanks Nans4int . It is really helpfull... but while running from command prompt I'm getting Access denied .. .... do I need to change any settings please...?...
