In TN ,when will use Primary HTTP and Secondary HTTP ?

We use Primary HTTP and Secondary HTTP, when we have both configuration which we define in the trading partner->Delivery Method and also if we have configured both protocols in different TPA's(agreement) for that Trading partner.

I guess, Secondary HTTP is for fail-over purpose.. But usually, it's a good practice to configure the VIP of the partner in Primary HTTP Field, which internally routes the traffic to the physical servers at their side; An example of Secondary HTTP can contain the DR Environment URL of the partner..
