When trading network receives an inbound document ,the first step is recognition processing,that is determining the TN document type to use when determining the TN document type. Trading network uses to match the TN document type to determine  document atribute values to associate the document and the initial list of preprocessing actions to perform against the document.

The final step is form a biz doc envelop that contain the original document ,the extracted attribute values, and additional information that trading networks requires for router and processing the document . The Biz doc envelop is passed to other processing variable called Biz doc in the pipeline.
